The Tire Industry Association is still accepting nominations for the 2015 Tire Industry Hall of Fame until Monday, July 6.
Individuals in the tire industry, including manufacturers, inventors, publishers, equipment suppliers, tire association executives, tire dealers, tire and rubber recyclers and retreaders can be nominated and inducted in life or posthumously.
According to TIA, inductees are chosen based on contributions to new ideas, practices and innovations that promote the health and well-being of the tire industry, exemplary and distinguished service in the tire industry and the respect of his or her peers. Civic, cultural, educational or charitable contributions are considered, but are not a primary consideration for selection.
Those chosen to join The Tire Industry Hall of Fall will be inducted on Nov. 2, 2015, at the Tire Industry Honors Awards Ceremony in Tropicana Las Vegas. The event is prior to the 2015 Global Tire Expo powered by TIA and the SEMA Show on November 3 through 6.
