Two men were charged with burglary of a building after they were arrested attempting to steal old tires from a Discount Tire store in South Austin, Texas, according to court documents.
The Statesman reported that the two men said they wanted to steal tires out of the container to resell them at his business. According to an affidavit, one of the men accused, owner of Bird’s Tire Shop, told officers that his business was slow and he was desperate.
