SEMA Pre-Show: Bartec to Demonstrate Newest TPMS Tool

Bartec USA is expanding its range of products with the new Tech200Pro – which will be demonstrated at SEMA and AAPEX.bartec-usa-tech200pro

According to Bartec, the Tech200Pro is the first tool of its kind that has integrated TPMS Sensor testing and activation, with tread depth measurement, and tire pressure checking.  A stand alone device, is an ideal solution for test-before-you-touch challenges, Bartec adds.

The Tech200Pro comes with a wall mounted, inductive charger and quick connect air fitting, and features full TPMS sensor capability to test sensor function, status, fitment, and pressure.

Additionally, the tool offers tread depth measuring that can measure tread up to 22mm (almost 7/8 inches), and with ±.1mm accuracy. To measure tread depth, the tool measures tread in three places showing a “profile” and the remaining tread.

A detachable “air hose/chuck” to measure “stick” pressure is also available in case a vehicle does not have TPMS, the TPMS sensor is not functioning, or the TPMS is an indirect type.  All data collected from the vehicle is sent via wireless Bluetooth to a shop’s PC or work station.

“The Tech200Pro will definitely help the tire sales associate demonstrate a complete picture of their customer’s wheels and tires, which means a great opportunity to create more safety, and in the end sell more tires,” said Steven Long, director of sales for Bartec.

The Tech200Pro will be demonstrated live at Bartec booths at SEMA (#40047) and AAPEX (#1073).

If you could boil this year's Continental Tire GOLD member meeting into one takeaway, it's that the tire manufacturer is putting a whole lot of effort into listening and responding to its dealer base. Continental doesn't own company stores, so building a strong value proposition around the company's brands and products with its distributors and retailers is the most effective path to success. To maximize the mutual benefits of this partnership, Continental leadership says acting on the will of its dealer base – whether that's about product, programs, distribution, or anything else – is paramount.
