Double Coin’s RT600 and RR202 Receive EPA SmartWay Verification

Two of CMA’s Double Coin commercial tires have met the requirements to be Smartway verified – the Double Coin RT600 and RR202.

“Double Coin is continually committed to engineering products that help reduce emissions and improve fuel economy,” said Aaron C. Murphy, vice president of CMA. “The SmartWay Technology program is a positive step in the right direction for our future, and we are proud that Double Coin products are on the list among verified technologies that improve the environment.”

The low profile, all-position RT600 features a five-rib design for precise handling, lateral stability and traction, the tiremaker said. And the ultra premium highway RR202 tire features standard and low profile sizes for a variety of applications.

Nexen Tire America recently revealed a multi-year partnership with the Major League Baseball team San Diego Padres, spanning the 2024-27 seasons. As the Padres' exclusive tire partner, Nexen Tire will be featured on a variety of marketing assets, including digitally enhanced billboards, in-ballpark branding, mound signage, and more, at Petco Park. In 2023, the Padres drew the second-highest attendance in all of MLB.
