Rotary Lift Offers New Double-Section Scissor Lift

Rotary-Lift-with-CarVehicle Service Group’s (VSG) Rotary Lift brand has launched the new RLP77 Double-Section Scissor Lift for quick-service jobs and smaller service bays.

The Rotary Lift RLP77 scissor lift’s extra-wide platforms feature hinged ramps that fold up and lock in place to extend the vehicle pick-up point surface. For more access to perform wheel and brake service, the ramps can fold 65 degrees down and away.

The Rotary Lift RLP77 can lift up to 7,700 pounds and offers a minimum clearance of 4 5/8 inches. When installed above ground, the lift allows 78 inches of clearance.

The lift comes in three heights of long-lasting polymer rubber pad adapter sets that work with most cars and an optional set of extended height 7-inch adapters is available for lifting SUVs and frame-based vehicles with short wheelbases, Rotary Lift said.

Additionally, the lift features the Synchrodrive hydraulic equalization system – a patent-pending, fully mechanical hydraulic system – that does the lifting work equally for both platforms. The system also uses fewer moving parts, hoses, valves and seals than other scissor lift systems, to provide greater reliability and fewer wear parts, Rotary Lift said.

NRS Brakes has designed galvanized brake pads for the Tesla Model 3 specifically for electric/hybrid vehicle technology.

As moisture creeps through the porous nature of the friction material, it is compromising the untreated backing plat, NRS Brakes says. Usually, moisture in the friction material is dissipated as heat is created through normal braking routines.
