RAC Sets Tire & Rubber Summit Agenda

The Rubber Association of Canada’s 2013 Tire & Rubber Summit, titled "Gaining Traction – Building Momentum," is set for June 6-7 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The event, which will take place at the Marriott Gateway on the Falls, features a full day of networking and speakers on June 6, followed by the association’s annual golf tournament on June 7.

Following a networking breakfast, topics covered at the event include: Rubber Materials Outlook, Automotive Outlook; a lunch presentation by Jonathan Bendiner, an economist with TD Bank; Regulatory & Policy Initiatives Affecting the CDN Rubber Industry; The Status of Canadian Trade Negotiations, featuring officials from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada; Energy Policy and its Affect on Energy Prices; Consumer Information & Tire Labeling; and a Tire Industry Outlook and Panel Discussion. The day will close with the Chairman’s Reception and Dinner.
