Parks Named New RTA Head - Tire Review Magazine

Parks Named New RTA Head

Jeffrey Parks has been named the new managing director of the Retread Tire Association, taking over for founder and retread industry veteran Harvey Brodsky.

In a heartfelt email to RTA and retread industry members, Brodsky explained that he would be unable to resume his full-time duties as managing director following failed surgery after an accident last January.

“After much soul searching, I realized that after 40 years of knowledge and experience serving as the voice and representative of our retread tire industry, the time has come for me to turn over to my very able assistant Jeffrey Parks the full time day-to-day role of RTA Managing Director,” Brodsky wrote.

“I have known Jeffrey Parks for more than 30 years. For the last 5 years, he has become RTA’s right hand man.  With training, experience, knowledge, full familiarity with and passion for the retreading industry, I can say with full assurance that Jeffrey is fully ready to take over the responsibility of leading.”

Brodsky will still be involved with RTA, which he founded in 2010, and work with Parks to assist the retread industry and RTA members.

Parks can be reached at [email protected].
