The Latin American & Caribbean Tire Expo hosted more than 210 tire manufactures from around the world in Panama from June 14-16.

David Shaw, CEO of Tire Industry Research, was the keynote speaker at the eighth edition of the expo. Shaw, a recognized industry expert with more than 25 years of experience in analyzing and commenting on the global tire and rubber industry, talked about the Chinese tire industry and prices at the educational conferences.

“We consider this to be the most important show in the Latin American region and critical in the development of our distribution network in this part of the world,” said Peter Cross, general manager of Davanti Tires. “We went there to showcase our summer tire range which was well received given the extensiveness of the size range and recent strong results at the TÜV SÜD proving ground in Papenburg (Germany). We are delighted to have secured and signed a deal for immediate Davanti Tyre distribution across Colombia”

The 2018 Latin Tyre Expo will be hosted June 6-8, 2018 at the ATLAPA Convention Center, Panama, Rep. of Panama. For more information on this topic, contact Linda Bassitt at +1 786-293-5186 or send an email to [email protected].
