Omni United Supports Breast Cancer Research Foundation

BCRFOmni United continued its Mobilizing Hope campaign and corporate alliance program for the third consecutive year to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). For every one of Omni United’s Radar brand tires sold between April 2013 and February 2014, the company pledged to donate $5 per tire, with a minimum donation of $200,000 and a maximum donation of $250,000. With its recent contribution, the company has donated  $750,000 over the three-year period.

Omni United’s ‘Mobilizing Hope’ campaign was launched in 2011 and money raised in the campaign goes directly to the BCRF to help prevent, treat and ultimately eradicate this disease. This year’s Radar Tires (Omni United) recipient was Dr. John Forbes and Dr. Jack Cuzick, both working on prevention strategies and effective treatments for women at risk of, or diagnosed with, breast cancer.

“We at Omni United are proud to actively support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in their inspirational endeavors to saving millions of women’s lives,” said G.S. Sareen, president and CEO of Omni United. “It is our firm belief that our company has a responsibility towards the world – a responsibility that goes beyond making safe, eco-friendly, durable tires for our customers. We admire the BCRF’s efficiency and relentless focus on funding the most cutting edge medical research to prevent and find a cure for breast cancer. We would like this company and our brands to leave a different type of mark in the world.”
