Omni Expands M/T Radar Tire Range

Omni United has expanded its Radar brand mud terrain range, the Renegade R7 M/T, with the addition of nine sizes. Renegade

The line is designed to fit most SUVs and light trucks, as well as vehicles with lift-kits, and is now available in 23 total white outlined lettered sizes.

The successor of the Renegade R5 M/T, the Renegade R7 M/T is designed for the off-road enthusiast who wants a rugged looking tire and durability on mud, harsh gravel and rocks, Omni said. The tire also offers traction on deep mud, sand and snow, and features 3-ply construction.

Designed with off-road motorsports in mind, the tire also features Baja race inspired stone ejector technology that uses a raised nub between tread blocks that deforms and opens when the tire rotates to release stones. Additionally a third layer stiffens the tire to reduce sidewall and tread punctures and upper shoulder side-biters give added traction.

Omni will also plans to release another seven sizes in December 2016. The nine sizes recently launched include: 285/65R18, 275/65R20, 315/60R20, 37X12.50R20, 37X13.50R20, 33X12.50R22, 35X12.50R22, 37X12.50R22, 37X13.50R22
