The Galaxy Muddy Buddy from Alliance Tire Group introduces a super-deep-tread design to the Alliance lineup of skid steer tires. The Muddy Buddy’s new extra-deep tread, shallow lug angle and sharp shoulders provide better traction on slick or slushy surfaces, and offer more high-durability rubber for longer service life, according to ATG. Additionally, the Muddy Buddy is ideal for the construction industry, which enhances skid steer performance in muddy conditions and on uneven surfaces.

Alliance Tire Group added the Galaxy Muddy Buddy, which the tiremaker described as a super-deep-tread design, to its lineup of skid steer tires.

The Muddy Buddy’s extra-deep tread, shallow lug angle and sharp shoulders provide better traction on slick or slushy surfaces, and offer more high-durability rubber for longer service life, Alliance said, adding the lugs’ sharp shoulder angle provides a superior grip on soft and uneven surfaces.

“We engineered the Muddy Buddy specifically for long service and dependability in slick or muddy environments like dairy farms and other livestock operations,” said Seth Walters, vice president of marketing and supply chain. “Whether it’s managing manure, mixing feed or handling bulk fertilizer, farmers’ skid steers have to be ready for whatever conditions Mother Nature sends their way.”

The company added the Muddy Buddy also is ideal for the construction industry since it enhances skid steer performance in muddy conditions and on uneven surfaces.

The tire is available in size: 10-16.5 and 12-16.5.
