Industry veteran Tony Molla has been hired to serve as the Automotive Service Association’s new vice president. Molla will start this newly created position on May 11.
As vice president of ASA, Molla will participate in industry events and build industry relations, the association said. Additionally, he will work with the mechanical and collision division operations committees on their projects and activities, as well as perform other duties.
Molla has more than 35 years experience in the automotive service industry. He currently is the vice president of communications for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Prior to joining ASE, he served as editorial director of Motor Age magazine and Automotive Body Repair News.
Molla is an ASE certified automotive technician, past president of the Automotive Communications Council and a regular presenter and moderator at many annual industry events.
Molla will be based in Virginia initially. Eventually he will relocate to northern Texas where ASA’s national headquarters are located. He may be contacted at [email protected] or at (703) 470-3243.
