Michelin North America is now offering its BibLoad Hard Surface radial farm tires throughout North America. The tire is initially launching in two sizes, 400/70R20 and the 460/70R24, with six additional sizes added through out 2015.
The BibLoad Hard Surface is designed for end users who many work on hard surfaces with compact loaders and telescopic equipment, the tiremaker said. The tire is a modified version of the Michelin XMCL and is designed to carry out a large number of lateral, longitudinal and transversal movements on hard, wet and even snow-covered surfaces.
The Michelin BibLoad Hard features diamond-shaped tread blocks made up of beveled facets. Offering six different grip angles, the facets make the block more rigid regardless of the tread depth and tread sipes increase the amount of biting edges on the tire and facilitate the evacuation of mud, Michelin said.
Benefits of the BibLoad Hard Surface include increased life due to an optimized footprint, reduced hourly costs over a lugged tread, enhance cut resistance and improved comfort due to the tread rigidity, Michelin said.
