Pete Selleck, chairman and president of Michelin North America is scheduled to keynote the Tire Industry Association’s Tire Industry Honors Awards Ceremony on Nov. 2 in Las Vegas.
“The Tire Industry Honors is always a highlight of industry week in Las Vegas and having Mr. Selleck as our keynote speaker is truly an honor for TIA and for the industry,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president.
Selleck joined Michelin in 1982 and have held positions in Greenville, S.C., and Clermont-Ferrand, France. In addition to serving as chairman and president of Michelin, Selleck serves on the board of directors for the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the board of directors of the West Point Association of Graduates and is chairman of the Rubber Manufacturers Association.
Selleck earned a bachelors degree in engineering and applied science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and MBA from Clemson University. He served as an Army officer for the 4th Infantry Division and subsequently spent more than 20 years in the Army Reserves.
