K&M Tire Inc. has promoted Ken Langhals, company founder and current company president, to CEO. Replacing him as president effective Jan. 1, 2018 is Cheryl Gossard, current company vice president.
Gossard, Langhals’ daughter, has more than 20 years of experience at K&M and has held increasing levels of positions over the years.
“Cheryl has been a strong contributor in many areas of the company, driving change and helping us grow the business,” Langhals said. “She has proven that she is an outstanding leader supporting our company vision, mission and values.”
With the new leadership structure, Langhals will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, vision and financial well-being of the company. Cheryl will be responsible for the daily business operations and the implementation of all corporate goals.
K&M was founded in 1970, and currently has 22 locations in the Great Lakes, Midwest & Great Plains regions of the U.S. serving tire dealers in 20 states.
