DC United’s Perry Kitchen was the winner of the second season of “What’Cha Got,” presented by Perry Kitchen.
Kitchen beat out the Sporting KC’s Dom Dwyer for the right to drive a Lamborghini in 2016.
“It was an incredible experience to race something with that much power and that exotic,” said Kitchen following his win. “It’s probably something I’ll never get to do again. Winning the competition is pretty insane, to be honest. I can’t really imagine driving that car around for a year, but I’m really looking forward to it and am very excited about it.”
During the 14-part series hosted by TUDOR United SportsCar Championship driver, Townsend Bell, seven athletes from the east and seven athletes from west Major League Soccer teams navigated a closed-circuit autocross court, shoot-out style. Eventually two players competed for a year-long lease of the Lamborghini fitted with Conti’s ContiSportContact 5P.
Kitchen will officially get the keys to the Lamborghini from season one winner Chicago Fire goalie Sean Johnson during half-time of the MLS Cup match on Dec. 6, 2015.
