An East Coast Warehouse in Jersey City, N.J., reported $20,800 worth of tires stolen Wednesday from tractor trailers parked inside the warehouse, NJ.com reports.
Police said surveillance footage showed the thieves cut through the fence around the warehouse, removed 16 tires from four tractor trailers owned by Exel Inc., a trucking company based out of Westerville, Ohio, and loaded the tires into a white van.
A warehouse employee reported the stolen tires to police on Thursday morning when he found the trucks on cinder blocks. No arrests have been made, according to NJ.com.
