After a five-month investigation by South Brunswick, N.J., police and the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, authorities have arrested a man in connection to a several commercial tire thefts.
Police believe the man is connected to seven separate robberies of tires in South Brunswick. They estimate the total value of stolen merchandise at $59,000.
According to NJ.com, South Brunswick detectives began investigating the robberies in May, when businesses along the New Jersey Turnpike reported tires being stolen from parked commercial box trucks.
Officials say that investigators are still searching for a second suspect in connection to the robberies.
