Hunter Engineering Co. has been named a finalist for Manufacturer of the Year as part of the Specialty Equipment Market Association's (SEMA) industry awards. 

Hunter Engineering Co. has been named a finalist for Manufacturer of the Year as part of the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s (SEMA) industry awards.

SEMA announced finalists this week for its awards, which include the SEMA Rep Agency of the Year, SEMA WD of the Year and SEMA Manufacturer of the Year. The awards will be presented during the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet, Thursday, November 2. Click here to get tickets to the event.

Hunter Engineering, founded in 1946, is a manufacturer of tire changers, wheel balancers, alignment systems and other automotive equipment. The company has over 350 patented inventions, employs 75 engineers and has around 380 sales and service representatives worldwide.

The SEMA industry awards banquet will also feature the presentation of the Person of the Year and Gen-III Innovator of the Year awards. The organization will also pay tribute to 2018 SEMA Hall of Fame inductees Donnie Eatherly, P&E Distributors; Ed Pink, Ed Pink’s Garage; and Chris Thomson, TMG Performance Products, for their influence on and contributions to the industry.
