Hankook Goes Digital in UEFA Europa League Support

Hankook TireHankook Tire launched its Hankook Tire Digital Fan Match for fans of the UEFA Europa League, marking the third year the tiremaker has served as the official partner of the league.

From March 23 to May 27, Hankook calls on enthusiastic football fans of the clubs that have advanced to the quarter finals for the 2014/15 season. During the campaign period, fans can participate by writing cheers for their favorite clubs on the world’s largest football portal website, goal.com, as well as social media channels such as Facebook and Instagram.

In addition, the campaign website, goal.com/beonewithyourteam, will count up and compare the messages to see which team has the best bonding spirit and excitement among its fans. There also will be a raffle for airfare tickets, hotel vouchers and tickets to the final match.

“As an official partner of the UEFA Europa League, Hankook Tire is proud to take part in yet another season’s excitement and share our brand experience with European football fans.” said Seung Hwa Suh, vice chairman and CEO of Hankook Tire. “With this campaign taking place in Europe, we believe our ongoing sports marketing efforts such as motorsports and football will be a springboard for our brand to reach out to European fans and solidify the brand value in the region.”
