Goodyear, Top Shop Finalist Celebrate ‘Back to the Future Day’

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and a Goodyear dealer celebrated Back to the Future Day yesterday, Oct. 21, 2015 – the same date from the movie Back to the Future Part II where Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel into the future.

A replica DeLorean time machine from the hit trilogy, Back to the Future, stopped by Tire Review 2015 Top Shop Award Finalist Mountain View Tire in Lakewood, Calif., in celebration of Back to the Future Day.

The original DeLorean time machine in the trilogy was fitted with Goodyear Eagle tires, Goodyear shared. As part of the Back to the Future Day celebrations, the Goodyear Blimp flew over the official fan event at Universal Studios Hollywood.

McCarthy Tire Service earns gold in Best of the Best contest

The company secured gold awards in four categories, including Best Employer, Best Auto Repair, Best Car Wash and Best Auto Detail.

The company secured gold awards in four categories, including Best Employer, Best Auto Repair, Best Car Wash and Best Auto Detail. Additionally, the company received a silver award in the Best Tire Shop category.
