The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has added the 11R22.5 size (Load Range H) to the G741 MSD – a tire for oil field, logging, construction and other severe-service.

Goodyear has also introduced a precure retread product for the G741, the PC G741, which is available for order, starting this month, in 8-1/2 inches (216 mm), 8-7/8 inches (225 mm) and 9-1/4 inches (235 mm) widths.

Features of the G741 MSD include:

•    A deep 33/32-inch tread with a wide footprint
•    An aggressive, self-cleaning tread design
•    A sidewall design that allows chains to be placed above tread blocks
•    A cut- and chip-resistant tread compound
•    Tread block sipes for traction in wet, snow and icy conditions, while maintaining optimal dry traction
