Get Your Booth Set for 2012 GTE/SEMA Show

SEMA has opened the floor to applications to exhibit at the 2012 Global Tire Expo/SEMA Show, Oct. 30-Nov. 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Applications – called Exhibitor Space Rental Agreements – are available at semashow.com/buybooth.

SEMA said that those companies that return its ESRA with a deposit by Apr. 27 will have “greater opportunities to collaborate with show organizers and participate in the priority booth selection process,” which is the first opportunity exhibitors have to select their actual show booth location.

SEMA reminds that its Exhibitor Education Summit, open to all exhibitors and potential exhibitors, will be held Apr. 2-4 in Las Vegas. The event is “an intensive program designed to connect exhibitors with key individuals and provide participants with up-to-the-minute insights into the show.”

Summit attendees can receive complimentary hotel rooms and meals at the summit are included. For more information, exhibitors can visit semashow.com/exhibitor-summit or contact Casie Stock at [email protected] or 702-450-7662, ext. 109.

If you could boil this year's Continental Tire GOLD member meeting into one takeaway, it's that the tire manufacturer is putting a whole lot of effort into listening and responding to its dealer base. Continental doesn't own company stores, so building a strong value proposition around the company's brands and products with its distributors and retailers is the most effective path to success. To maximize the mutual benefits of this partnership, Continental leadership says acting on the will of its dealer base – whether that's about product, programs, distribution, or anything else – is paramount.
