The Mansfield News Journal reported that an employee died in a workplace accident this week at a Mansfield, Ohio Monro Muffler & Brake.
Charles Thompson, 31, of Mansfield, was pronounced dead at the scene in the shop at 1062 Park Avenue West, the news outlet reported. Local officials said the Thompson’s death was accidental.
Regarding the accident Tuesday afternoon, Monro Muffler Brake & Service issued the following statement to Tire Review:
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our teammate as the result of an accident and are offering our full cooperation with authorities in Mansfield, Ohio, to determine the cause. We also have begun our own internal review. We are committed to the safety and well-being of our employees and extend our thoughts and prayers to our employee’s family and friends.”
