Denso is opening a new shipping warehouse in Nashville to help meet increasing sales needs in North America.
The company will invest approximately $6.7 million to open a 165,000-square-foot warehouse, it said. The new location – Denso Logistics Nashville Tennessee (DLNT) – is scheduled to open in April 2015.
In addition to a new location, Denso recently invested $1.6 million to expand its logistics center in Belleville, Mich. The investment added more than 40,000 square feet and 10 new jobs, Denso said.
These recent announcements are part of Denso’s plans to invest nearly $1 billion in North America, the company said. More than $750 million of that money will be spent in the U.S. to strengthen and expand product development and manufacturing capabilities.
