Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.’s Cooper Zeon Eco C1 has earned a 2016 Good Design Award from The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and for its sustainable design.
“Cooper is committed to producing products that are more sustainable and the Eco C1 meets consumer’s needs by creating a safe, reliable, fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly tire that is also innovative and stylish,” said Gavin Edwards, general manager of Cooper’s Asia Technical Center. “Being selected by respected third party entities like the Good Design Award is a great endorsement and builds momentum for our products.”
The Eco C1 is a passenger tire designed and produced by Cooper Tire Asia. The tire is designed to deliver rolling resistance and wet performance and has a B/B EU tire label grade.
In its eighth year, the Green Good Design Award is a specialized edition of the original Good Design program. The award is focused on criteria such as C02 reduction, energy conservation, and sustainability.
