Conti’s BestDrive Acquires Brahler’s Truckers Supply

BestDrive LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Continental Tire the Americas, is expanding into the Midwest with the acquisition of Brahler’s Truckers Supply Inc.

“We are incredibly pleased to bring a well-known and respected company like Brahler’s into the BestDrive family,” said Glen Carson, director of retail for commercial tires at Continental the Americas. “This move puts BestDrive in a great position to better serve the Midwest region as we continue to expand both our locations and our services,” he added.

With the purchase, which took place on Feb. 1, BestDrive has acquired Brahler’s seven service locations in Illinois and Missouri, as well as one retread shop.

The new BestDrive locations will also carry multiple brands of radial truck tires and Continental commercial vehicle tires, Continental specialty tires, ContiPressureCheck and commercial tire pressure monitoring systems. BestDrive will also transition Brahler’s from the Marangoni retread process to the ContiLifeCycle (CLC) process.

According to Continental, these locations will still operate “under the guidance” of Brahler’s president Richard Brahler.

“I am very excited to be part of the BestDrive family,” said Brahler, “As a solution provider for many years it made perfect sense to join forces after seeing the new products and technologies Continental is bringing to the our customers…it’s a win-win.”

BestDrive also has locations in Arizona, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Michigan.
