Continental Releases Winter TBR Tires

Continental has released a new line of winter TBR tires.

The Scandinavia line offers sizes for trucks used in both distribution transport – sizes 17.5 and 19.5 inches – and in long-distance transport – size 22.5 inches – as well as a trailer tire and a special winter tire for megaliners. The line also features passenger transport tires.

After a series of tests, the tires showed up to 40% more traction on snow and ice and a shorter braking distance on snow at a speed of 50 km/h by nearly 10 meters, Conti said. The tires also carry the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol on the sidewall.
