Continental Raising Passenger, LT Tire prices

Effective May 1, Continental Tire the Americas will increase the prices of its Continental and General branded passenger and light truck tires by up to 7% in the U.S. market.

Effective May 1, Continental Tire the Americas will increase the prices of its Continental and General branded passenger and light truck tires by up to 7% in the U.S. market.

According to the tiremaker, the price increase is in response to the continued escalation of raw materials, energy, and logistics costs.

Continental notes that the increase will vary across marketing lines and tire sizes.
