“We’re extremely proud to be awarded the New Product Showcase Award in the Tire and Related Product category by SEMA,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing for Continental Tire. “This tire is the perfect balance of on and off-road performance for Light Truck and SUV owners. While this is a new segment for Continental Tire, the feedback has been tremendous. The off-road durability and traction combined with the quiet, comfortable ride on-road, has made this a top choice for consumers.”

Product Showcase Awards honor the most innovative and cutting-edge new and featured automotive aftermarket products. This year nearly 3,000 new products were entered across 16 categories.

Continental revealed that Rob Schroeder, former Sr. manager of operations, marketing and analytics, will take over the responsibility of head of region for the United States and Canada. In this role, he will oversee all of material handling, port, earthmoving and agriculture tire business in the United States and Canada. The appointment took effect April 1.
