Continental Tire the Americas will hold a grand opening later this week for a new BestDrive commercial tire and retread facility in Taylor, Mich.
The 60,000-sq.-ft. facility will service the Great Lakes region and represents an investment of more than $1.5 million, according to the tiremaker.
BestDrive is a commercial tire retreader and distributor specializing in servicing fleet customers with new tires, retreads, casing management and other commercial tire-related services.
Only the third outlet of its kind, the BestDrive in Taylor joins locations in Memphis, Tenn., and Phoenix, Ariz. BestDrive outlets carry multiple brands of radial truck tires in addition to Continental-branded items, including Continental Passenger and Light Truck Tires for Commercial Fleets, Continental Specialty Tires and ContiPressureCheck Commercial TPMS systems.
