The restoration service includes stripping the wheel’s original finish, restoring and preparing the wheel to accept new chrome plating, paint or powder coating. The service includes wire wheels, in which the wheels are sand or media blasted and new spokes and nipples are installed.
“Collectors who want to maintain the stylish look of classic wire wheels can now have their vehicle’s original wires restored to showroom condition,” said Corky Coker, president of Coker Tire. “Through our new process, most any original wire wheel in any rim diameter can be restored to its former radiance.”
