Club 3633 Profile: Jason Lang

Being the head of marketing and a territory manager in addition to serving as a volunteer fireman, Jason Lang has a lot on his plate – but he’s still hungry.

Jason Lang, 23 Head of Marketing & Territory Manager at  Tire Solutions Inc.,  Clearwater, Minn.

Being the head of marketing and a territory manager in addition to serving as a volunteer fireman, Jason Lang has a lot on his plate – but he’s still hungry.

Since 2011, Lang he has been working at his family’s business, Tire Solutions, doing everything from delivering tires to designing marketing materials, not only for the company, but customers of Tire Solutions as well.

“Being the marketing guy for not only Tire Solutions but our entire customer base keeps me pretty busy. The rest of my free time is spent out in my own territory visiting current customers and trying to maintain their business while gaining new customers to join our network,” Lang says.

Lang’s favorite part about being in the tire industry is getting to talk with new people from all walks of life on a daily basis.

“The tire and automotive industry is full of down-to-earth people who know how to work hard, but also take time to enjoy the little things and have fun,” Lang says, “so to have the opportunity to experience that makes the industry enjoyable to be a part of.”

Lang says the best advice he’s ever received is “Work hard, stay humble.” Those words come into to play every day, reminding him to stay focused because nothing is owed.

“I think happiness is a great way to measure success,” says Lang. “Helping people and treating people right, whether it’s a customer at work or in your personal life, is not only personally rewarding but is such a simple way to leave a positive impact on the people around you. I also believe that if you run your business with integrity, success will follow.”

Fun Fact: Lang enjoys going to gym, playing hockey and anything to get him out on the lake.
