Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) has partnered with the soccer freestyle champion, Iya Traoré for the next two years. Traoré will be an official and special guest at the Indian tiremaker’s events around the globe.
BKT chose to partner with Traoré after seeing his soccer ball performance last February at SIMA.
Born in Guinea, Africa, but residing in France, Traoré has played for Paris St. Germain and in other high-ranking international teams. He has been entered three times into the Guinness Book of Records due to his performance abilities with the ball at his foot.
With the partnership, BKT will also be donating school supplies to Iya’s charity, the IYA Foundation School in Guinea, Africa. The company will also support some smaller hospitals through the supply of medical instruments and photovoltaic cells to produce electric current vital to guarantee the continuous functioning of the hospital services, the company said.
