Atturo Tire Debuts New Sizes of UHP AZ850 Tire at SEMA 2018

Atturo Tire debuted six new sizes of its ultra-high-performance AZ850, which is available to view at the 2018 SEMA Show.

Atturo Tire debuted six new sizes of its ultra-high-performance AZ850 –now available in 275/50R20, 285/40R20, 285/45R20, 295/45R20, 285/40R21, and 305/35R22 – providing new excitement for drivers of today’s SUVs, crossovers and sport trucks.

Specifically engineered to take advantage of the increased power and handling ability of these modern vehicles, the AZ850 delivers high performance without sacrificing style and offers an affordable, high-quality alternative to OE tires found on many performance SUVs, Atturo says. The AZ850 will be on display at Atturo’s booth #43221 in the South Hall along with the other tires in Atturo’s high-performance AZ series (AZ610 and AZ800) and rugged Trail Blade Series (Trail Blade M/T, X/T, A/T and Boss).

“By offering more sizes of our AZ850, we’re excited to provide SUV, crossover and sport truck drivers with a wider array of applications, enabling even more people to Go Their Own Way on Atturo,” says Atturo Marketing Manager Joe Gomez. “These new sizes address some of the new OE performance applications, as well as provide PLUS fitments for improved performance.”

Yokohama Rubber said it will supply its Advan Sport V107 tires as original equipment (OE) for the new Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4Matic+ Coupé. The Coupé is being fitted with 265/40ZR19 (102Y) front tires and 295/35ZR19 (104Y) rear tires.

The Advan Sport V107 being fitted on the new CLE 53 4Matic+ Coupé was jointly developed with Mercedes-AMG. Yokohama said the tread pattern is designed to deliver a quiet ride, and the tire’s groove area and a compound have been adjusted for performance in dry and wet road conditions. Additionally, the optimized casing rigidity contributes to steering stability that is essential for high-power premium cars while also improving fuel efficiency, the manufacturer said. The tire accordingly features the Mercedes-AMG’s “MO1” mark of approval on the sidewall.
