During its recent annual membership meeting, the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) elected a new board and named Jerome Lentz of Challenger Lifts chairman for his third term.
ALI President R.W. O’Gorman praised Lentz for his contribution to the organization for the past two years.
“Under the direction of Jerome Lentz, ALI has achieved many milestones,” he said. “The past two years have seen significant growth in the ALI Lift Inspector Certification Program, the successful launch of the online version of the Lifting It Right vehicle lift safety training course, and the formation of significant partnerships with other vehicle service industry organizations.”
The board also includes returning members Jeff Kritzer of BendPak, Peter Liebetreu of Hunter Engineering Co., Stet Schanze of Gray Manufacturing Co., and O’Gorman. New members include Stan Poweska of PKS Equipment & Engineering, Matt Webster of Vehicle Service Group, and associate class representative Gary Wainwright of Weco.
Representatives for the board come from North American-based vehicle lift manufacturers, while the ALI’s associate class membership, made up of service organizations, vote to elect board members.
