As sales of import vehicles continue to outpace domestics, Affinia is launching a new sales and marketing strategy for its Raybestos brand chassis parts to address the growing demand for import replacement parts.
"Our focused, integrated import chassis marketing support will help Raybestos chassis customers better meet expanding import sales," said Jeff Stauffer, Affinia senior vice president of global marketing.
"Service technicians want import parts that match OE form, fit and function,” said Stauffer. “They want to purchase from a global supplier that has the coverage, availability and quality required to service today’s import vehicles."
Changes will be made to the “look and feel” of the Raybestos packaging – specific to import parts – and an aggressive marketing campaign aimed at stores and technicians will build increased awareness for the Raybestos chassis import product offering,” he said.
In addition, Affinia representatives will help warehouse distributors and parts stores better manage their import chassis parts inventory.
