The Manufacturing Institute has named Accuride Corp.’s Mary E. Blair a recipient of its Women in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Ahead Award for 2017.
Blair has served as Accuride’s senior vice president, supply chain management, since joining the company in October 2011. She leads Accuride’s global strategic sourcing, logistics, supplier quality and development, and inventory control and planning activities.
Blair is also a member of the board of directors at the University of Evansville Institute for Global Enterprise, and is a former Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana board member. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Ferris State University and a Master of Science – Business degree from Central Michigan University. Additionally, Blair is a Capella University Global Leadership Doctoral candidate.

This is the fifth year of the STEP Ahead Awards program and winners will be recognized at a reception in Washington, D.C., in April. Blair is among 100 Honorees and 30 Emerging Leaders from 93 companies in manufacturing.
Two Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. associates are also being honored with Women in Manufacturing Awards.
