#AAPEX: ACDelco Introduces Wide Range of New Products

At this week’s Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), ACDelco showcased several new products, including starters and alternators; General Motors OE gaskets, engine mounts and transfer cases; and window regulators and motors.

New product details are as follows:

• Seventy Professional new alternators and 38 Professional new starters cover 2014-1988 models from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Pontiac, Hummer, Saab, Chrysler, Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Honda, Toyota, Nissan and other manufacturers. Backed by a two-year/24,000-mi. limited parts warranty, the alternators are tested for voltage stability, terminal function and electronic circuit board integrity; starters are tested for solenoid contact life, coil balance and pull strength.

• A series of more than 440 GM OE engine component gaskets and seals cover a wide range of specific GM vehicles in model years 2016-1935. The new part numbers encompass high-demand gaskets for intake and exhaust manifolds, oil pans, valve covers, cylinder heads and engine front covers. GM OE gaskets and seals are backed by a 12-month/unlimited miles warranty.

• ACDelco GM OE engine mounts, covered by a 12-month/12,000-mi. warranty, are tuned specifically for each vehicle model depending on its use and are designed to function with all surrounding components to ensure the mounts bolt correctly and to eliminate interference with other vehicle components. The mounts provide crash protection with a metal interlocking system that helps control the mass of the engine in the event of a collision, as well as help guard against corrosion with an e-coating that protects aluminum and metal parts for 10 years.

• Nine GM OE new transfer cases for GM full-size pickup trucks cover Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks from model years 2007-1999. Simple “plug and play” installation saves time and money, without the need for programming or specific tooling requirements. Other benefits include: Vespal pad inserts and an aluminum vent for increased durability and reliability, an oil pump flouting sleeve for strength, improved seal material and design, calibration to match the vehicle with exact specifications, and a no-hassle core return. The transfer cases include 2-speed, active, on-demand shift; 2-speed, electric, part-time; and 2-speed manual shift, part-time.

• The addition of 29 Professional window regulators, 19 Professional window motors and 29 Professional power window regulator and motor assemblies means ACDelco now covers 92% of GM vehicles and 77% of non-GM vehicles with its window lift products, which total more than 1,900 individual part numbers in all. New Professional part numbers cover model years 2013-1983 for General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, BMW, Nissan, Honda, Audi, Hyundai, Mazda, Volkswagen, Mercedes and Acura.
