Les Schwab Settles EEOC Claim for $2 Million

Les Schwab Tire Centers has settled a four-year-old EEOC claim that it refused to hire otherwise qualified women who sought jobs as tire techs.
Reports said that Schwab agreed to pay $2 million in the settlement with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The EEOC sued the tire dealership on behalf of the women in U.S. District Court in Seattle.
