Two more Cooper-produced private brand tires have come under voluntary recall for potential tread chunking problems.
Some of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.’s own Discoverer H/T and Discoverer LSX light truck/SUV radials, in size 245/70R17 and produced between Nov. 15 and Dec. 12, 2009, were recalled late last month.

No European Plant for Apollo, Vredestein Plant Gets Nod

India’s Apollo Tyre has apparently dropped plans to build a new tire plant in Europe, and will instead turn its attention to expanding its Vredestein facility in the Netherlands.
