Nitto Tire USA Inc. has launched a new website offering what it terms "original premium digital content."
Totally separate from its other online efforts, Nitto’s new driving-line.com “hopes to establish itself as a top destination for auto aficionados, casual car lovers and fans of high quality auto-focused stories,” the tire firm said.
The site will feature a wide-range of stories, from “local stories to some of the most exclusive and exotic automotive destinations in the world.”
Currently on the site are a profile of the late Aryton Senna, a Formula One champion and motorsports icon who tragically died in a race crash; an inside look at Aston Martin; and a virtual tour of the famed BMW Museum in Munich.
“Driving-Line will feature top contributors from traditional print to the internet's most influential enthusiasts and bloggers,” Nitto said. “The site will strive to contain the most beautiful and eye-catching photography outside of a museum. There will also be a strong social component where readers are encouraged to participate by sharing their views, favorite stories and pictures through Facebook and Twitter.”
