The founding president of Integra Tire & Auto Centres has left the tire retail franchise operation.
Darrell Sept, who helped found the Edmonton-based Integra Tire & Auto Centres in 2008, left the company sometime over the past couple of months. His departure was mentioned in a recent letter to Integra suppliers.
Integra CEO and co-founder David Cosco will assume Sept’s duties.
Integra Tire was spawned from the 2008 bankruptcy of the former Tirecraft Group. That unit had been owned by Cosco and he sold it to another group in 2005.
In 2008, Cosco bought six Tirecraft stores out of the bankruptcy and started a franchise operation that attracted dozens of other dealers including some Tirecraft store owners to join. The operation was named Integra Tire & Auto Service Centres.
