Reports say that Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. will invest $322 million to build a new tire plant in Brazil.
The report said the plant, slated for the southern Brazilian state of Parana, will be on-stream in 2013 and will produce 15,000 tires per day. The report did not specify what type of tires the plant would produce.
