TPMS maker Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket launched a new online aid to help distributors, tire dealers and service shops learn more about TPMS applications, benefits and use.
Using an online quiz format posted at redi-sensor.com, the maker of VDO TPMS replacement parts, Continental hopes the effort will improve the knowledge base for all tire techs.
According to Steve Landis, VDO TPMS product manager, “This quiz is a fun way to make sure that our aftermarket parts and service community is up to speed on some basic TPMS knowledge. As more and more TPMS-equipped vehicles come in for service, the need to know more about the systems and their service requirements is vital from both a maintenance and profitability standpoint.”
The overall quiz covers 11 key points about TPMS principles, operation and service, Continental said, and those completing the quiz will also get a chance to win one of five daily Redi-Sensor baseball cap prizes that will be awarded through June 30.
