Oro-Tek has added QR codes to its TPMS sensor packaging, making it possible for techs to obtain application and relearn data right on their smartphones.
Using a QR code reader, all the techs need to do is scan the code with their smartphone and they will get a list of all the vehicle applications for that sensor and the matching procedure to pair the sensor with the vehicle’s ECU.
“This is without a doubt the easiest and smartest way to get a relearn procedure yet,” said Tim Bartel, marketing manager for Oro-Tek. “We are dedicated to maximizing technology and empowering the end user.”
QR code scan apps are available for free for iPhone, BlackBerry and Android smartphones.
