The Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) now offers a directory for Consumer Protection Offices across the U.S., and offers it free as a member benefit.
The Directory of State Consumer Protection Offices contains listings for 215 offices across the 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The directory provides the office address, phone number, a direct Internet URL and an e-mail address, if available, for each Consumer Protection Office.
In addition, MAP has updated its Directory of State Attorneys General. This publication contains a listing for each state, D.C. and the U.S. territories, including American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The directory provides the name, office address and phone number for the person holding the office. The listing also provides the direct URL for the attorney general's office, the party affiliation for the office holder and the date when he/she was elected/appointed.
