Cynthia Niekamp, a senior vice president with PPG Industries, has been named to the board of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., effective immediately.
Niekamp's term will end with Cooper's 2012 annual stockholder meeting, where she will stand for re-election if she chooses. Niekamp will serve on the company's Audit Committee.
