Curry's Auto Service, headquartered in Sterling, Va., will open its ninth store in November in Alexandria, Va.

The opening of the new store – with 6,100 square feet and 8 service bays – marks the fourth store opening within a 12-month period for Curry's.
The company opened a store at Dulles Town Center in November 2010, a store in Fairfax in April 2011, and a store in Gaithersburg, Md., is scheduled to open this month.

Curry's, a 2009 Tire Review Top Shop finalist, (http://www.tirereview.com/Article/66919/north_americas_top_shop_finalist_currys_automotive.aspx) also operated locations in Arlington, Chantilly, Falls Church, Gainesville and Great Falls/Reston, all in the D.C. area.

“This location in Alexandria is in a high end, high density area which has gone through significant redevelopment and revitalization in the past 10 years," said Curry’s President Matt Curry. “Being close to Metro and downtown D.C. makes it convenient for our customers and they certainly appreciate that. The Alexandria location also gives us a wider geographic presence in the Northern Virginia market.”
