Former Eaton Corp. executive Christopher Ostrander has been named president of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s North America Tire Operations, effective Jan. 17.
Ostrander replaces Cooper Chairman, President and CEO Roy Armes, who also served in that capacity. The new president will also serve on Cooper’s executive committee and as a corporate officer.
At Eaton, the West Point graduate was most recently vice president and general manager of its Torque Control Products Division.
In addition to a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from West Point, Ostrander holds a master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Missouri at Rolla, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
